Anti-Cheat Policy

1. Our Commitment

NoLagZA is committed to maintaining a fair and competitive gaming environment. We have zero tolerance for cheating, hacking, or any form of unfair advantage. Our anti-cheat systems are designed to detect and prevent cheating to ensure all players have an equal opportunity to compete.

2. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Aimbots and Wallhacks: Any software that provides automatic aiming or reveals hidden information
  • ESP (Extra Sensory Perception): Software that shows player positions, items, or other hidden information
  • Speed Hacks: Modifications that increase movement speed beyond normal limits
  • No Recoil Scripts: Scripts or modifications that eliminate weapon recoil
  • Macro Programs: Automated scripts that perform actions faster than humanly possible
  • Game File Modifications: Altering game files to gain advantages
  • VPN/Proxy Abuse: Using VPNs or proxies to manipulate ping or location
  • Account Sharing: Sharing accounts to boost rankings or statistics
  • Match Fixing: Colluding with other players to manipulate match outcomes
  • Exploiting Bugs: Intentionally exploiting game bugs for advantage

3. Detection Methods

We employ multiple detection methods to identify cheaters:

  • Server-authoritative results: Competitive CS2 outcomes require signed server submission where configured
  • Behavioral review: Suspicious patterns may be investigated by staff
  • Player reports: Community reporting with evidence where available
  • Manual moderation: Confirmed integrity violations are handled by authorised staff

During beta, detection and response capacity is under active testing. We do not claim fully automated enterprise detection or immediate automated bans for every case.

4. Consequences

Violations will result in:

  • Confirmed cheating: Permanent ban may apply immediately
  • Escalating offences: Repeat integrity abuse may lead to longer suspensions or permanent bans
  • Clan sanctions: Applied only after investigation when coordinated clan abuse is evidenced
  • Match outcomes: Results may be removed and ratings corrected where authority rules require it

Sanctions are determined by evidence, severity, intent, previous offences, competitive impact, and risk to platform integrity. Fixed day-count ladders on this page are guidance and may be adjusted for beta operations.

5. Appeals Process

If you believe you were incorrectly banned, you may appeal by:

  1. Submitting a support ticket at /support
  2. Providing evidence that the ban was incorrect
  3. Waiting for our moderation team to review your case (typically 3-5 business days)

Note: False appeals or attempts to deceive our team will result in permanent bans.

6. Reporting Cheaters

Help us maintain a fair environment by reporting suspected cheaters:

  • Use the in-game report function
  • Submit detailed reports through our support system
  • Provide evidence when possible (screenshots, video clips)
  • False reports may result in penalties for the reporter

7. Fair Play Commitment

We are committed to providing a level playing field for all players. Our anti-cheat systems are continuously updated to stay ahead of new cheating methods. We invest significant resources in maintaining competitive integrity because fair play is essential to the NoLagZA experience.
